Tony Scott is known as a British film director who was born on July 21, 1944. Some films directed, among others, TOP GUN, THE LAST BOY SCOUT, ??TRUE ROMANCE, CRIMSON TIDE, ENEMY OF THE STATE, SPY GAME, and MAN ON FIRE. Sunday (19/8), the 68-year-old man died.
His family denied that Scott was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This man chose to end his life by jumping from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. As reported by Digital Spy, Tom Cruise reportedly contributed in honor of Scott. “Tony is a good friend, and I will miss him,” said Cruise. “I am sorry, and thoughts to his family now,” he added.
Cruise worked with Scott in the movie TOP GUN, DAYS OF THUNDER, THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER and. He also said he met with Scott, Fr y (17/8), to discuss planning a sequel to TOP GUN.
