Jerry Nelson The Count on Sesame Street Dies One member of the old Sesame Street, Jerry Nelson is rumored to have died. The departure of the man who fills the voice of Dracula, Count Von Count leaves the funeral for all the friends and colleagues at Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Company. Jerry died at the age of 78 due to complications from cancer and various respiratory long suffered. During his life, Jerry many contribute to Sesame Street.
